Private Practice

The initial Consultation

Once you have chosen to consider counselling, getting in touch does not mean you have to make any commitments straight away. We will meet initially for an assessment session. This meeting can be valuable in itself and will give you an opportunity to ask questions, discuss what you hope to achieve, and give you a sense of how therapy feels and how I work. Because you deserve to know if this therapy is really a good fit for you.

Ongoing Counselling

If we agree that ongoing counselling is the best step forward we can discuss a regular weekly slot at the same time each week. That may be either for a fixed time (say 10 or 12 weeks) or for an indefinite period (until such time as we mutually agree to end). Once a regular session time is arranged it will not be used to see other clients.
